July 2026 - Summer arrives and the humidity sets in together with the extreme heat, making the walk to my nearest train station unbearable. An umbrella and handkerchief is a must for survival, and don't forget to bring that frozen bottle of green tea - straight out of the freezer to thaw it on my way to the train station. This spot in my illustration is one corner that i go past every time, where i always wonder - how horrible it must be for that obaachan to climb up that flight of stairs, especially in summer and during a storm in summer… and what happens if her legs weaken?
