The 2026 Illustrated Digital Calendar: a year-long collection of hand-drawn landscapes from local Japan, reimagined for your smartphone and desktop. Each month features an original illustration capturing the seasons, light, and quieter moments—from riverbanks to urban backstreets.

November - My favourite month of the year! It is a month of autumn foliage and a season where you try to squeeze in a day of trench coat, trying to be a tad trendy. This is a scene I’ve painted in 2025 from memory, of my visit to Hakone with my littlest for a day-trip. The weather forecast didn’t mention rain, but it got really cloudy and minutes later, we were drenched. But because of the rain, we checked out a really cool bakery along the lake, and had fun waiting for the rain (that didn’t stop - hence the drench) to stop.

Optimized for modern devices, the calendar downloads as high-resolution wallpapers and desktop backgrounds in multiple sizes:

• Smartphones: 1080×1920px

• Desktop: 1920×1080px

Use it as a daily background, a screensaver, or a printable page!

Let a part of my local Japan be part of yours.
