As a Singaporean who has lived abroad for more than a decade, this window seat view is all too comforting.

This piece brings me back to my first flight out after Covid. There were cheaper flights, but I was very stubborn about getting to fly with my national carrier, and to be honest, i was paying for that infamous phrase, “and to all Singaporeans, a warm welcome home”.
